Yesterday it was raining cats and dogs (so what else is new) and Caleb was driving me nutz. My sister-in-law's birthday is July 4th so I told him we'd go take Goo to lunch. We did, but it came a gully washer while we were eating and he got itchy again during lunch (the kid just don't like to be indoors).
Wellll, we took Goo home and I drove to the Sherrif's department and took him in. We went to the little window and I asked if they could babysit for a while cause I needed a break. Got a "strange" reaction to say the least.
Fortunately, after a few minutes (with Caleb yelling for Sgt Connie) his cousin Sgt Connie came to the rescue, along with the Sherrif and it turned out to be hillarious. The nice Sherrif offered me some handcuffs and Caleb settled down (after he gave the Sherrif a "ticket" and showed him all his Walker, Texas Ranger moves). The Sherrif was impressed. (he went to school with my brother-in-law and knows the whole family is crazy).
Anyhow, if you want a break from the rain - visit the Sherrif's dept. It broke up our dull day..

What is law enforcement coming to these days?
I am TOTALLY disgusted with that sheriff's actions and his whole department! Talk about inefficient law enforcement!
It is time to fire that guy and his whole staff!
To think, he had the infamous BarbaraD IN his building ... And he let her walk out ... as a free citizen?
What is this world coming to?
