| Actually, if it had been any normal prosecutor, instead of one with an agenda, it never would have gone to trial. This persecutor prosecutor had to go before several grand juries and had to basically brow beat the last one into finding there was enough to go to trial. There was no case, because there was no crime until Libby's perjury. This prosecutor should be suffering the same fate as the Duke Lacrosse Team prosecutor.

That may be but this White House is practicing Nixonian-style stonewalling and defying us at every turn. Libby is screwed for some time to come. So are we thanks to this bunch of criminals. Charlie

If I were to be afraid of one of the two, I'd be more afraid of the person who pulls out all stops to convict someone - anyone - rather than just drop a dead case. It could happen to you. Be afraid. Sandy Berger can waltz into the national archives or whatever the place is called and steal secret documents and gets a slap on the wrist, this guy did do anything that amounts to squat. BUt leave it to the cry baby democrats to make a big stink about it. Didn't Bill C pardon a guy who fled the country get a pardon for something much worse?? The Dems are pussies who haven't done shit since they took power except cry about every little thing this administration has done. Reid is a prick in my book.

I forgot about Sandy Burglar. LOL Now THAT was a case where someone should have been prosecuted. Yes, on Clinton's last day in office he pardoned something like 140 people (and commuted the sentences of 36 others), including Marc Rich who fled the country and renounced his US citizenship due to charges of income tax evasion to the tune of 100 million dollars, conducting crude oil trades with Iran during the hostage crisis, mail and wire fraud and racketeering. Clinton pardons and commutations also included murderers, drug dealers, bank robbers, even 16 members of FALN (a Puerto Rican terrorist group that set off more than 120 bombs in the US between 1974 and 1985, killed US citizens, killed cops, killed US military personnel and allegedly threatened to assassinate president Reagan). http://www.usdoj.gov/opa/pardonchartlst.htm Yeah, beware of Bush. LOL Edited to add this link to all Clinton's pardons from 1993 to 2001. http://www.usdoj.gov/pardon/clintonpardon_grants.htm and this link to his commutations during the same period: http://www.usdoj.gov/pardon/clinton_comm.htm

Mike, your post reminds me of a dude named Ken Starr. How funny. How can you call Clinton a criminal for lying about a blow job and at the same time you think the investigation into the treason of naming a covert operative in the war on terror is nothing but the democrats hating on Bush? Jesus, that seems a little bass-ackwards to me.

That was the conclusion of a REPUBLICAN prosecutor appointed by Bush and by a REPUBLICAN judge also appointed by Bush.... and he was willing to take the consequences to keep that secret. He should fall on his sword like a man then.

The Constitutional damage attempted by Dubya and of course Dick Cheney...if he really still exists...he may be a robot... is more dangerous to the country than anything I've seen in my lifetime. It's a stunning catalog of attempts against intent and spirit of the law. That the Bush administration hired as part of its justice department watchdogs, about 150 shining bulbs that are graduates of Pat Roberston's super dooper Regent University, shows a level of contempt and disregard for the will of the people that's hard to fathom. What Bill Clinton did pales to insignificance when it comes to any abuse of the judical system. Charlie

| Yes. Quite simply it's a coverup and a full pardon will ensue if need be to insure that it works. Is the press against Dubya? You bet and it's about time. When he shoots himself in the foot, it hurts the country more. Who would have thought that someonce could make Nixon look good? Charlie
