LPs to CDs

I have 674 record albums collected from 1956 to the middle 1980s. I have just acquired some hardware and editing software that will allow me to convert them to CDs, WMAs or MP3s. I am having a ball salvaging those songs and albums that I would like to keep. Most of them are available in newer and better recordings, but some have never made it to tape or CD. The latter are the ones I am salvaging, i.e., the soundtrack from Le Voyage en Balloon (1962). If you would like to know more about my inventory, please let me know. After me, Charlotte and ASB, you could be next.

Don't be offended by my frank analysis. Think of it as personality dialysis.

Treat those LP album sleeves with kid gloves. A lot of them can be worth money...Elvis for instance. Sounds like fun too. Charlie
