Daddy always loves me
My Daddy always loves me.
And he always has.
From the top of my head
to my funny monkey toes.
And my bright blue eyes,
that told him I was up to no good.
My pointy little nose
that always seemed to run.
Even my cute little smile
when I did something I shouldn't.
To some my forehead was to big
or my knees to knobby.
But Daddy always loved me.
Even though I put poptarts in the register.
He thought it made the house smell good.
Or when I was little and took that $20
that wasn't really mine.
He just smiled and shook his head.
Because my Daddy always loves me.
I hated when I had to share him.
But I know that I'll always be Daddy's little girl.
My Daddy always loves me.
He always has and always will.
My Daddy always loves me
because I'm his and he's mine.
