Well all we left SC. late Wed. night and arrived in Houston at noon yesterday.
The trip was expensive with the car hauler and U-Haul (7mi. to the gallon monster) added to Lin's Explorer as a chase car, but was totally safe and without problems 
We have unloaded everything into a climate control storage unit and are at the kids house now with all the work done.
So far we have met nothing but wonderful people with great "southern" manners so the culture shock I was expecting has not happened.
I do not have my puter set up yet but I will very soon.
 to Helen and I hope that all the rest of you are as well and content as can be!!!
Ha's have been horrible but I can deal and maybe the change of location will have a positive influence in time.

Tim it's SOOO good to hear from you - I've missed you and Im glad you've got there safe and sound. Good luck in your new home, I hope its wonderful for you and being from West Texas myself  OBVIOUSLY there is no better place to live!
