wireless network Q

Anyone know about wireless networks?? I had to reformat the laptop and now I can't get it back on my network. We have a MS 500 router and a MS-520 wireless card. Geek squad originally did it for me but I don't know what they did and our warrenty expired so I have to pay 150 for them to come back out. The logical thing would be to install software but it didn't come with one. *Shrugs* I thought I WAS pretty good at computers too!! Any help would be great!! Thanks, Lindz

Use Google to find your Wireless NIC's driver(s). They should be at a MS site somewhere Should be smooth sailing after that.

Also, if you problem is with the WPA key for your wireless and the geek squad didn't leave it with you, then use an eithernet cable to plug into your router so you can use the web interface to find the key. If you can't even get in then you may have to hard reset the router. You should be able to download a manual for the router. Paul
