I just checked my tomatoes and I've got TWO tomatoes growing. They just sprouted out overnight....

Ok, so this is not a big deal for those of you who CAN grow stuff, but this is from a woman who's artificial flowers wilt after about a week!  Grin

TWO tomaters today -- Tomorrow the WORLD!!!!

My pole beans broke ground a few days ago, its the only thing that I can get to grow on the trellis in front of my house.

I dont like beans, but it looks cool when the trellis is all covered. Grin

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

You should try growing Cascade hops. Absolutely beautiful. And a tribute to homebrewers all over this great nation.

If you wanted to make your own beer, you'd have your own source of hops. If not, just cut 'em down at the end of the season and wait until next year. You'll have twice as many. Grin

Cascade hops make the best beer for sure.  Bill wouldn't steer you wrong.

Congrats, Barbara.  They will smell and taste like no other's.

Gotta tell you this true story......

Some years ago, I went to my Aunt's house and she very proudly showed me her beautiful tomatoes on her porch.. They were in containers with one plant in each, and the tomatoes were humongous.  I noticed that they all had a stake in their pot which was about 5 ft. tall.  Naturally I asked her where she got the stakes and she answered.........."these are old mops that I collected from friends,  to hold the plants up".

Dear God..........these tomatoes were growing in pots with rotting, old mops holding them up.

Luckily, they weren't ripe enough yet to be offered some to take home.

People do the darndest things.
