Thread about the PGR...non-political

I know that I should already know this stuff, but I am a sleep deprived Clusterf##k so please indulge me if you will.

I have already contacted my very soon to be State Captain in Texas to inform him that I will be transferring my flag to his state.

My question is who else besides Linda H. , ShariRae & Ally, Minnie, and myself are members of the PGR?

Like I said above I know that I have heard of and from others, but I am having a very "Blonde" day so please don't be offended.

The way we do it here in SC. is that if you have attended a single mission of any kind and signed the compliance form you are a member.

I would also like to say for those that don't know.....

You do not need to be a vet.
You do not need to ride a motorcycle (I don't).
You in no way shape or form need to approve of or have any particular leaning towards war or conflict.
You do not need to approve of a particular political party.
You do need to be non-violent (biggie).

We do honor missions for all past or present soldiers, sailors, marines, coast guard, and way too many law enforcement officers.

We do very sad missions, we do very uplifting "feel good" missions like visits to hospitals.

We share in the saddest yet most meaningful moments it has ever been my privilege to be a part of.

I am not here to recruit.... I am a grunt! I did want to share.

I would like to know and for any of you to know that if you are or choose to be a member that we share a very significant bond and as they say in the Great State of Tn.

"I preciatecha"......Tim who is also very proud to be a......

Sorry Tim, this is the first time I've heard of it, and I forgot to ask Clark as he's the one who would know about it as the one who's been involved in any missions.

Clark W. Lind, SMsgt, USAF, currently stationed at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, home of record is Oregon, and had two tours in Korea, 12 and 15 months, 2 tours in Bosnia, Camp Eagle during Kosovo campaign (he was there when the Serbian migs were shot down just a few miles from the camp and when the Brchko decision was finalized) then a 2nd one in 02 or 03, can't remember now,  and Afghanistan in Nov of 2001. (he got to play with the secret squirrels, the guys that weren't actually there hehe Wink )

I'm a member.  Daughter and I went to a local funeral when there were rumors that the right reverand planned on protesting.

Carolyn, you were the one that I knew that I had forgotten Embarassed

I distinctly remember you having posted on the subject.

The vest that I am going to have made will have an OUCH emblem on it as well as the names or (PGR Nic"s) of friends of mine. I would love to include you and your daughter if you wish. PGR region would also be appreciated.

Best always Tim aka haywood boss on the PGR site.

Hmm nick I'd have to ask Clark again LOL, and I have no idea what the region is either.  I sent him an email after you posted back, and he said yes, he had an eye out for some time since the right reverend as Carolyn so eloquently put it, lives but a border away.

We sadly are burying another Nebraska soldier that was killed in Iraq last week.
