Thanks for the news story. It was a very interesting read. Particularly because he is from WI and because my son Chris will be a Marine Recruit in less than 30 days at San Diego MCRD. I liked the mention of Marineparents.com It is a wonderful support network.

Did you see the size of those freakin spiders (camel spiders) on his blog ??.... OMG, that would be my worst nightmare.... 
It was an interesting read and I wish nothin but the best for that young man to come out unharmed !!
