They shall grow not old, as we who are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them. Lest we forget.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

http://www.arlingtoncemetery.net/flanders.htm In Flanders Fields By: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-191 Canadian Army IN FLANDERS FIELDS the poppies blow Between the crosses row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.

That's pretty nice Eddie. Thanks Jamestown always has a big parade to Soldiers Circle in the cemetary. The whole town lines the way and it's great that it hasn't much changed in my lifetime. Charlie

Memorial Day by Michelle R. Christman As we stand here looking At the flags upon these graves Know these flags represent A few of the true American brave They fought for their Country As man has through all of time Except that these soldiers lying here Fought for your country and mine As we all are gathered here To pay them our respect Let's pass this word to others It's what they would expect I'm sure that they would do it If it were me or you To show we did not die in vein But for the red, white and blue. Let's pass on to our children And to those who never knew What these soldiers died for It's the least we can do Let's not forget their families Great pain they had to bear Losing a son, father or husband They need to know we still care No matter which war was fought On the day that they died I stand here looking at these flags Filled with American pride. So as the bugler plays out Taps With its sweet and eerie sound Pray for these soldiers lying here In this sacred, hallowed ground. Take home with you a sense of pride You were here Memorial Day. Celebrating the way Americans should On this solemnest of days.

I happen to wander to another side of our city library last Thursday and saw pictures, stories and letters that had been donated to the library by city residents that had served in U.S. wars. Battles I had only read about, but a proud showing from the guys who were there and have now passed on. It is awing experience to stand before that knowing how many more pictures and experiences never came back. A wish they could all come back. For today, a thought in sadness for those who's stories and pictures did not return.
