Famous clusterhead?

We are always on the lookout for cluster headache sufferers who are celebrities - how about a Nobel Peace Prize winner? F.W. de Klerk was the white President of South Africa who worked with Nelson Mandela to end apartheid, for which they shared the Peace Prize. An article in the South Africa Star about de Klerk's reluctance to retire as head of his foundation has this: quote There are few septuagenarians who could hold a candle to him and his hectic diary, but his life couldn't be more stress-free than it is today. Although he claims to miss "the hectic early morning traffic jams", gone are the cluster headaches that plagued De Klerk every two years since he was 18. end quote. That's all it says about clusters, and there is no mention of clusters in the brief bios I found so far on the net. de Klerk wrote an autobiography "The Last Trek; A New Beginning" Fredrick Willem de Klerk (Paperback: 416 pages, Trans-Atlantic Publications; 2000 ISBN-10: 0330369601; ISBN-13: 978-0330369602) Amazon let me see the index of the book, but there is no listing for 'cluster' or 'headache.' Might have to just buy the thing. No time for more research now, late for work. -tommyD
