I tend to not post family pics, but I'm making an exception today....
Three "semi-dateless" Juniors head to the Prom. My daughter is on the right.
Another one....this time by herself.
Ah to be 17 again. Me? I'm going to the race track.

I have only a limited sample group to draw my conclusions from, but I'm convinced my hypothesis will be confirmed at The July Convention, we do produce some great looking kids. I'm with granny on this one, have the shotgun out when the boys come by!

You'll be sitting on the porch, checking your watch every five minutes, wondering what they're doing, who they're dancing with -- remembering when YOU were that age.... checking the shotgun to make sure the bullets are still good, checking your watch again.... etc...
But then they'll come home so happy and glowing and you'll act like you've been watching TV all night and didn't even miss them.....
Been there ---- it doesn't get any better.... have another beer...

Thanks everyone for the kind words. She's a good kid, but these teen years have been an adventure to say the least.
And yes.....I did go to the race track....but I was home, waiting at curfew time.
Oh and Jimi......save for the hair color, she looks more like my sister did at her age than either of her parents. She got lucky.
