A history of headaches other then clusters?

I was wondering if others on this board have ageneral history of headaches besides clusters like I do. My life seems to be headaches since I was a kid. Everything gave me headaches. Everything gives me headaches. Stress, nerves, heat, not enough sleep, too much sleep. I'll get a headache Monday on my left side (not cluster) and take Ibuprofin all day. Finaly at night during sleep it goes away. Then Tuesday it comes back gradually on my right side. Then I pop Ibuprofin all day and it goes into my neck area till Thursday! Just wondering if this is like others. I've been given Inderol and Elavil but they don't work.

I dont think I would even feel a normal HA at this point, but thats just me I guess. If I have had one in the last 30+ years, no one told me about it!

As a kid (849 years ago) I used to have lots of regular tension type headaches ... 28 years ago, I started clusters ... I have not had a tension headache since! Chuck

I've recently been getting some moderate stress related migraines that last for days. Co-workers see it in my face, and tell me to go home, but I can function.

I used to get some headaches as a kid. Since CH, a normal HA is rare and seems like a mild annoyance. -P.

A few years before getting CH, I got a migraine that has never left. While the CH are more painful in the moment, the constant migraine is more disabling for me because it never goes away. The CH sometimes drives up the baseline of the constant migraine, and when I have really bad migraines, it seems like I get more hits from CH, too. But in the last month or so, I've actually finally found something that's helped the constant migraine so it doesn't have the same hold on me as it used to. Hopefully things will stay that way! Lots of people here have other headaches besides CH.

When I got my first CH hit, I had little experience with headaches at all. No one in my family suffered migraines either so far as I know. I was 23 when first hit and 45 when they gradually ended. Charlie

Some headaches and sinus headaches more recently. But they have always been trivial except the 4 or 5 concussions...then it was not the pain like CH, it was the vertigo.

When out of cycle I get migraines, sometimes they are triggered by something that I ate or they are just menstrual migraines, but the pain is never like CH, with migraines I can go to sleep with the pain.

Since developing CH I have also started having very occasional migraines and ice pick headaches. Other than odd tension ha's usually caused by glare or not drinking enough I've never suffered with headaches previously - not ones that I couldn't pin point exactly why I'd got it anyhow!
