2 SIDES OF AN ISSUE: Safety is a real concern as you can see below. But as you can see from the quote below (the last- the Avatar COO) the argument of US manufacture is bogus if the US manufacturer buys bad ingrediants. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/06/world/americas/06poison.html?pagewante d=1&_r=2&th&emc=th2 "From China to Panama, a Trail of Poisoned Medicine In fact, The Times found records showing that the same Chinese company implicated in the Haiti poisoning also shipped about 50 tons of counterfeit glycerin to the United States in 1995. Some of it was later resold to another American customer, Avatar Corporation, before the deception was discovered. “Thank God we caught it when we did,” said Phil Ternes, chief operating officer of Avatar, a Chicago-area supplier of bulk pharmaceuticals and nonmedicinal products. The F.D.A. said it was unaware of the shipment." Someone else probably caught it for them. Doubt there is much poisoning going on in Canada...and a lot of people here see American doctors and Mexican doctors across the border where they also, get thier scrips.

Unreal The "poison pill" story says it all. I remember the first few times this kind of thing came up about safety. It was because of the hundreds of Canadians dropping dead daily on Toronto Streets. Charlie

| It was a joke. One of my pet peeves is the ridiculous lengths our masters go to to scarce us into believing that Canadian drugs are dangerous. Sorry. I didn't mean for anyone to take that seriously. Charlie

What happened recently with the dog/cat food should be enough to make people think twice about importing food and especially medication. Where did the ingredients in the vitamins you took today come from? Actually, the three I took? Donnie

| Obviously, I don't know personalities around here though I have a clue to some from postings. My new effort is to be more circumspect.

| I thought that was in 1978 and 1979--when the Blue Jays lost over a hundred games in each of those seasons. Apoplexy.
