Formulating a plan

As some of you know, I lost my job 4 weeks ago due to my chronic condition and I've recently had a dual occipital nerve block. So far, I've had a 70% improvement in my HA's. Thanks for all the support so far gang! Everyone really has been wonderful during this trying time. Jacki, my loving and exceptionally supportive wife, has been encouraging me to take the summer to rethink my life and perhaps find a new path to follow. I'm slowly coming around to her way of thinking. There's an extremely HIGH possibility that this upcoming fall, I'll be going back to school to acquire another bachelors or perhaps even a masters degree. While I haven't yet settled on a career path yet, I've been considering medicine, nursing, and education. Fortuantely, I've got time on my side, so I'm not going to rush into anything just yet. First things first, though. I've got to get this damn CH under some better degree of control. The next 4 months should do just fine. Have a great Friday all! I'm definitely going to try!!!

The medical field! I am particularily fond of the idea of becoming a phlebotomist myself... not because I love blood, or gore, or even poking people with long needles.......I just like the word......and I think Dracula is cool........."blaaaaaugh! I vant to zuck your blooddd!"....I mean, really, isn't THAT cool? OK, seriously, Bond, I'm hoping this is the beginning of a really nice long PF time for you, and I think the Medical profession would be marvelous. Nowadays, there are soo many posotions in the med field, I'm certain there is a great careeer there! My mom, who is currently hospitalized, is in awe over a male nurse who is caring for her. She says he is the MOST compassionate person she has ever met. Anywhooo, there's soo much to choose from........ make your plan, then follow it to fruition....and TO HELL WITH THE BEAST! PF! Cathi

Sounds great to me. The more clusterheads in medicine, the better and my boomer group is going to need a lot of them. Hope you can keep the beast on the run. Good attitude. Charlie

Phlebo's are needed as are almost any other medical discipline. The shortage is sad and the security of a job in the medical field is great. Good choice! Good luck.

| Note to self: Lobby all legislators to enact a law barring the import of vegemite into the US so Helen can keep the bloody shit for herself.
