Need help with a DVD cam recorder!

OK is there some kind of player that you use for a 8cm dvd?
My husband won a cam recorder and it uses 8 cm DVD's. How do you watch these little DVD's the book that came with it doesn't explain this.

I think they play in most normal dvd players.

Thanks you two that what I wanted to know. I am chargeing this thing now and Buddy is bringing home the DVD disk.
I wish I had had one of these when my kids were little. I am going to enjoy this to the fullest with JD.
