I know I'm a few days early. So sue me. April 1998 DJ had searched the web looking for information about this pain in his head. In frustration he started ch.com with this first sentence: WELCOME! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------- [ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Cluster Headaches Messages ] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------- Posted by DJ (Webmaster) on April 11, 1998 at 22:54:26: I hope you like this place! If there is anything you would like to see added, don't hesitate to email me! Thank you DJ You have saved lives by doing this. You have allowed us to be a family here, sometimes getting so damned frustrated I am sure, with the fighting. You have been ever so patient with us. You have also by this site....spawned so many other sites...as you have said yourself...."I never would have known....." HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

I know how you ended up hairless .. It is from pulling your hair out, having to deal with the likes of Jonny, Don, Linda, Barbara, Den, Cat, etc., etc. ... From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! Chuck

Happy Anniversary DJ And to all of us.... (Ok this is me being serious) For those of us who've been here for a LONGGGG time, we've seen so many changes over the years and we've seen so many people come aboard. Back in the old days we used to wait for DJ to get home to update the board with everyone's messages (once or twice a day). It wasn't instant like it is today. But we were all so happy to find a "home" here that I think we all answered every post. Most of us were just happy to find out we weren't alone any more. It was wonderful. I don't really think we'll ever know how many lives this board has saved, but we all know it has. I don't think DJ ever envisioned what would happen when he said "Welcome" back in 98, but speaking for myself - I'm sure glad he did. Hugs BD

Many thanks Deej. Even though I've had a great run for many years, I'm still boggled at how many of us there are and I decided to hang around. Now I'm stuck. You others here helped me in other ways as well. You're the best D J. Charlie

Thank you DJ !!! You have given us a home, a place to talk with people who understand, make new friends and take the lonesomeness out of our lives when it comes to dealing with the beast. And I cannot image how many people this site has helped. You are a true friend to all of us. Again, thank you for all you do for us. Rick

I remember finding the old board. The msgs of info, joking, support, or just a response in the subject <nt>. I had dialup from hell back then and posting meant I would probably lose my connection but one thing was clear: I WAS NO LONGER ALONE. DJ, thank you from the bottom of my heart and Happy Anniversary.
