Well I'm off....

My hot date is tonight and I'm off to Shreveport. If ya'll don't hear from me for a day or two -- don't worry. My "hot date" says he's coming home with me so..... 
Got my camera all batteried up and ready to shoot the guy with the TIE.... Talked to him last night and he's as excited as Granny.
dinner reservations are at 7, but I've got a few "business things" to tend to before we "dine" so I'm going early.
Seriously, we're eating at the Asian place and they always make a fuss over him, so this should be a nice night for him (and Granny too).

My "date" went just wonderful. I was in the bar when they got there and the lady came and told me my date had arrived. (I had told her I was expecting the most handsome man - about this tall wearing a tie ). Mamasan made a big todo over the "tie". He and Granny had "drinks" with "umbrellas" and he ate everything in site. (Did I mention he loves Chinese food?) He let his mom and dad sit with us, but it was his and Granny's nite.
And I only lost $50 at the casino waiting on him.
My darling son "touched" my camera and it BROKE so I don't have ONE picture and am livid. I had it set and all he had to do was push the button - don't know what he did to it but it quit and wouldn't work after that.
Unfortunately Caleb didn't get to come home with me cause they're taking school pictures today. He told me he was gonna wear his tie so he'd get me a picture.
And our fortune cookies (both of them) said we should try new things - we'd like the results.
Sorry Steve, I was thinking of Caleb and didn't even notice the hotel. Will look next time I'm in Shreveport. This is me being ashamed  .
