Help bird in Pipe.........

So here is the problem, I was outside walking and behind the building I work in there is a huge hallow pipe about 8 inches wide that runs up to the roof and about 7 feet up from the bottom there is a whole..........anyway a bird flew into it and is stuck down at the bottom. I have tried numerous things to get the little feller out but have not succeeded.
What should I do???? I will be broken hearted if I leave here to go home and he is still in there.
Any ideas???

Get some stiff wire, make a hook on the end. If you can reach down with the hook end and grab his little leg.

try hitting the pipe, maybe it will scare the bird and he will make an extra effort to get out on its own, sometimes that is all they need to get out of trouble..a little push. I have seen birds stucked before because they like to check out narrow spaces looking for bugs, do not worry, I bet he will be able to get out of there the same way it went in.

naaahh you are not..I have been there before, I went to rescue a baby bird that fell off his nest, had to get a ladder to get to the nest, the moment I put the birdie in the nest, he jumpes out of it again!! put him back about seven times and just gave up, I just put him close to the tree hoping mother bird will help him and praying for my Kitty not to find it first  ..I had to walk away..sorry, but the damn fellow did not want to stay at home...with animals you just never know...Go figure!!

The ACME Co. has an "ask the Coyote" toll free number.
Blow up part of pipe so you can reach bird, risky.
Make building disappear, pipe falls,
bird walks out through hole.
Create earthquake, bird shakes free.
Pour grease in pipe through hole,
bird slides free if stuck.
Disintigrate part of pipe above bird to reach in.
Use pogo-stick, reach hole, grab bird if reachable.

Depends whether the pipe is plastic because if it's metal you shouldn't use the microwave. Otherwise, given your weather just now, I'd tend to go with a bit of chilli or cajun.

Wow!!!! I may be sappy but that was funny sheeeettt!!!! Ok now I feel bad.
So I ended up cutting a long piece of quilters padding ..... (yah cauze we have that just laying around the office for some reason.......) and ran enough of it down so it could touch the botton then tied it at the top of the hole...... in the hopes that he would be smart enough to well ....climb out I guess. Haven't heard him in there today so I am going to tell myself that my "McGuiver rigging job" saved his little life.
Anyways this is the latest.
