Our Weekend

Well, to say the least we have kicked some ass and taken names....
We closed n our new house Friday morning and started moving. We have pretty much everything over here now, but it's those last little things that are being a pain in the ass.
Can't wait to show you all pictures of our new place.
I'm also needing a little nudge of support. I got a phone call last night, my step mother passed. She went to the doctor last Friday, "not feeling well", and was diagnosed with latter stages of lung cancer. The prognosis already wasn't good, a few weeks but the woman's body was too frail and sick, she made it a little over a week. This woman was amazing, my father and her had been together for over 15 years, she was more of a Mom to me than my real thing.
I guess God needed another angel yesterday... 
In the midst of moving and trying to unpack, I'm gonna go with my Dad to the funeral home today to set it all up. The funeral will be on Thursday.
We love you all, hope things are going well for everyone.

lots of "good move vibes" are headed your way! I'm just in the middle of my move (with my boyfriend/best supporter) and we're in the "20 boxes on the living room floor" - stage. 
I'm so sorry for your loss... Losing a mum (no matter if she was step or not) on a time like this is extra pressure and I'm glad that you let us know about it. Lots of  and vibes and prayers are on their way!

Oh Steph, I'm so sorry for your loss.
I remember losing my Dad in an almost identical scenario, I was pregnant with Ayden and we had just moved and were still unpacking boxes.
Here's hoping your angel has found my angel and they are having a time of it
