Ah! The foreigners put on such airs
Wearing the tangerine suits
And their harlequin eyes.
The pain they inspire
Draws in harmonica melodies
And the feathers of birds
Which flame up at their touch.
It all comes to light in the sheer
Debonair.

Dam I didn't think it would be that easy. These guy's cruise at 180mph. Take the heads right off pidgeons and catch them on the fall. They have more rights than we do, being protected and endangered.

Hey jb,

The Parks Conservancy has a question for you...

-------------------------------------------------

"That is a very nice picture of an adult Peregrine Falcon. I'm having a little trouble orienting myself to the exact location of the bird on the bridge. Is that bird perched on the structural support underneath the deck? And from which side, Marin or San Francisco?

We have been watching the bridge pair of Peregrines for a few years and they have attempted to nest both on various parts of the bridge and in a couple of different locations on the cliffs above the Golden Gate on the Marin side. This year we've seen them perched both on the North Tower -- their usual favored perch, and also on the South Tower. Thanks for getting in touch. "

We've got a pair of these 'birds' living in a building on the circle in downtown Indy. They keep coming back and they seem to raise a couple of young ones each year. Pretty cool!

You can see them on Indystar.com, Falconcam. Smiley
