After my wife and my kids for several years telling me I am no longer a "kid" and my oldest son telling me I am going to be a grandfather I am bowing to familial pressure and changing my handle to just Callico.  I guess it (like becoming a grandfather) is just that one more step closer to death. Grin  I've used that handle for years now, but just because I'm dropping the kid part doesn't mean I'm going to grow up!

You're like me.   I still haven't decided what I want to be, when I grow up.  After all, I am only in my late 50's ... I still have time ... Sorta ...

That's what I love abouty this place!  No matter what the topic it can get hijacked in the most delightful ways! Grin  The way most carry on around here one would think you were siblings.  It keeps me laughing.

Don't worry Minnie, you're safe.  (It's kind of hard to type that with your legs tightly crossed and your eyes crossed in sympathy! Cry)  I never claimed to plan on growing UP, just older.  don't think I'll be jumping trykes though.

Thanks Chuck.  I'll be sure to pass it along to him.  He should make Corporal next time around, and I couldn't be prouder!  Right now he is as mad as he can be at the Corps.  he volunteered for deployment, but for some reason didn't get chosen for this go around.  he doesn't think it right that others have gone multiple times while he is still at home.

Fukeneh!  Never grow up!  I'm 44 years old and still color in coloring books, play chase in the yard and wrestle around on the floor with the granddaughter.  I wanna die "young" at a very old age.

BTW, congrats on becoming a grandfather. Grin  It's so cool!

The only difference between men and boys is
The size of their SHOES and the Price of their TOYS...

Get over it guys -- Age is just something that happens when you're not looking.. And if you ever grown up what the hell do you have to look forward to? personally I don't EVER plan to grown up. There are still things I haven't done yet. I have a friend and we're STILL doing FIRSTS.

Cal just enjoy everyday -- your family is just jealous cause you're having so much fun....
