Keep your eyes on this HOT new band

It's just a garage band now, but listen to the lead guitarist. He's been in several bands, but just recently found guys that are up to his level of expertise.
The band is called Eli's Curfew and the latest song (Neurotic Overolad) is, in my opinion, the best one they've released so far.

They need a better sound board or whatever balances out the sound. The lead guitar is too muted... like he is playing in the next room.
But he is tearing it up, that is for sure.
Wow... CarrotTop is their bass player!

Thanks for the IM's.
So, OK, the lead guitarist is my son-in-law and the bass/lead vocalist is my grandson, and that's as personal as it can get.
They have not recorded in a studio....yet......soon tho. Like I said, at this moment, they're a garage band with one hell of a lead guitarist. ..I've been to some of his gigs when he played in other bands.
If I sound stupid, it's because I am when it comes to "band-talk".

These guys have a great foundation on which to build. Searing, shredding guitar is what all the girls go ga-ga for, but tell them to try this: Bass player and drummer hold an extra practice for every regular rehearsal they have as a band. Bass player positions himself so he can physically see the drummer's bass drum foot. Go through every song and synchronize his accents with that bass drum. I always like to tell people that my right hand and our drummer's right foot are joined at the hip.
This will make the band uber-tight, and the overall sound of the band will make that much bigger of an impression. It is the very definition of "rhythm section." It will also give the guitarist a much more solid foundation on which to build his magic.
