Upper joint pain?

I had another massive CH last night out of the blue. Only the headache, nor the urge to puke were the worse. It was the pain in shoulders, jaw, chest, arms (both sides)..has this ever happened to anyone else?? I am luckly benifits at the new job kicked in, and they cover the demon. So I will be off to see a neuro soon. Any comments on why this happened like this last night would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can't say I've had anything like what you are talking about. Do you majorly tense up and clench your teeth or do you get really physical with your wailing and flailing about during an attack? Do you have a history of heart trouble? When was the last time you had any cardio testing done? Pain in the chest, arm, shoulder and jaw can be signs of a heart attack. I would say call your doctor and see what he thinks. He will be able to ask you specific questions that will help him make a decision on how to proceed. Better to check and be wrong than to not check and suffer permanent damage or worse.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.
