The first one is between Jamestown and Riverbank, "AROUND THE BEND FROM LOVER'S LEAP", and the second is a few miles east of Patterson, "ALMOST HOME". Watercolors look different depending on the light they are in. Also, they look better about 6 feet away. Thanks for looking. Only 14 more to go. Charlotte

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)

Love the little hillside road in the first, it takes me into the scene. The clouds are great in the second one and, whether that is sunlight peaking through or if that's a very distant impression of a mysterious peak they are veiling, make it look awesome. Beyond is Shangri-la.

Jamestown is great place to visit. Anyone into trains would love this place. Very nice, Char! It's places like these that I will miss the most when I hit the road on the 20th.

Charlotte, I really like the style of these paintings, and the colors are great. Fourteen to go? Very ambitious project. Pat

Purdy! I like the colors in both of them, and I can't figure out which one I like the most. I like the sky in both of them, but I like the darker hues in the first one. Decisions decisions. 'darlin
