Prefaced with: Gee, I hope this kid does not have a medical condition that causes her to gain weight.

I'd even pay for your ugly ass to get there to beat those parents senseless.

The fucking kid cant even walk.  These parents should be prosecuted for criminal negligence resulting in the girl losing use of her limbs.

thats fucked up

Let us take this to the other extreme.

The ex idiot, had made some irrational demands that Megan, our, beautiful daughter, cut back on her eating to prevent her from getting fat.

I posted her Formal Pictures back in January...anyone want to tell me my daughter has to worry about what she eats?

Edit to add:  In case you didn't get to see her.

I saw an act of faith today. A man was on his knees, not in a pew in a Church, but in a garden planting seeds. ~~Unknown

Now that's just downright sad!  Embarassed

Redd, your daughter looks so grown.  Where did the time go?  She looks lovely.  I don't see an eating problem from the pic.   Wink

There's another one in the news also. It's been in court.

What's happening is PARENTS are lazy! It's easier to feed the kids McD's than to see that they eat something more stable. Schools feed them hot dogs and hamburgers instead of salad, meat and veggies. It's just easier than having a diaticitian to figure out what the kids need.

When I was in school (back before electricity and all that) we did NOT have vending machines in the halls - we ALL ate in the caferteria and we ATE what they served. We had "balanced" meals (some I still have doubts as to what they were, but they were balanced).

And at night my WHOLE family sat down at the table and ate what Mom had cooked (or Dad as the case may be - he was a good cook). We had meat, veggies and we HAD to at least TRY everything. A candy bar was a big treat and we drank water or tea. Cokes were a treat also.

Until parents start RAISING their kids again - we're gonna see more and more of this.

And I'll chip in on the ticket for Jonny......

I blame our inability to make due and have a normal family unit.  What  ever happened to someone staying at home and tending the needs there while someone worked outside the home?
I cleaned houses while my kids were at home so I could be the room Mother, softball coach, campfire leader, gymnastics coach.....Their lunches were packed daily.  We had real veggies and meat for dinner.
There seems to be a misplaced value in getting more stuff and sacrificing the important things.

how does a parent let that or perhaps make that happen??

i heard here, that a man faced charges in the UK for making his dog so fat that it was unable to function normally. it was treated as animal abuse.

if this is parenting caused, they should see what the prisons are serving up for dinner.

The whole town saw this happening and their hearts went out to the daughter as they watched her ballooning up in weight?????????

So why wasn't Child Protective Services called on those parents before she got to 400 plus pounds?
