Creamsicles

My wife and I learned a few things last night when we were out with friends... 1- Vanilla Vodka and super-chilled Orange Juice tastes exactly like a Creamsicle. I mean spot on. 2- I really, really like Creamsicles. I gotta talk to the bartender this week to find out if there was anything else in those, but I am fairly certain the two ingredients were it. I just need to find out what brand of vanilla vodka that was, as it was ideal. This week I will be picking some up. On Sunday we are having a golfing party at my house, on my golf simulator. A pitcher of Creamsicles (or whatever the drink name is) will be right there. /yeah, I drink chick drinks //yeah, I built a full-sized golf simulator during my absence ///yeah, my front yard is a golf course, but I still put a simulator in

This, sir, is the original Dreamsicle team: All things dreamsicle or creamsicle related must meet with the unanimous approval of this team.

It's possible but unlikely that Tripple Serc may be in there too to augment the orange flavor, specially if the OJ used is cheep and sort of the watered down type commonly used in taverns. It does make a wonderful summertime refreshing drink, and I'd assume (read=put money on) the Vodka is Absolute Vanilla. California blend Sunny Delight makes a great Creamsicle, because the flavor isn't watered down at all. Give it a try....

There is a brand of Vodka called '3 Olives'. Last year I sold my bar, but as I recall, the most popular drink at the time was the creamsicle, made iwth their Vanilla Vodka and orange juice, with a splash of real cream on top. You have to make sure the drink is stirred or shaken *before* you put the cream in (or it might curdle, yuck). Excellent drink, ESPECIALLY fer the womens. They also have a spectacular Cherry flavored vodka that went very well with an energy drink called 180. That mix tasted just like a Mai Tai, but it kept you awake. Nice wide awake drunks... gotta luv em. -Fu

| No dear . . .really. Only 13 days apart. Like if I was born on the 14th of March, 1960 and he was born on the 1st of March, 1960. 13 days, same hospital, same OB/GYN, yada yada yada. Honest!

Interested in another tasty treat? I don't mean to be OT here, but my wife and I discovered this accidently and we love it. Maybe some adventuous individual might like it too. coffe mug large, 1/4 full of cran rasberry juice, next, filled to just 1/2 way perhaps a drop more, with cocoa, add a bit of vodka, and kalula.. Now drink that and see what ya think.
