Greetings from Sonkajärvi!

Me and my best supporter are on a short holiday. We're visiting my best supporter's home town, Sonkajärvi. 
We're staying with my best supporter's friend. He lives in a lovely house with 4 adorable cats. We're visiting city called Oulu tomorrow and might catch up with my relatives who live there. And before we're headed back to Jyväskylä we're meeting more of my best supporter's family friends.
But I must tell you this. Sonkajärvi is actually famous from one specific sport: Wife- carrying world championships! Check it out and start practicing for next summer's competition!  Dennis Rodman already competed in here!

Hmm... I can only presume that he was the man...
Lovely pictures you've found, Kevin. Oulu looked like that when we visited it on Friday. We had tea and salmon sanwiches with my uncle and aunt and then went shopping for a while. Then we drove back to Sonkajärvi and visited my best supporter's close family friend.
Saturday we went to visit my best supporter's two friends and their families and saw the short film my best supporters friends put together.
Earlier today we enjoyed some of the Finnish winter funs. We ate sausages and pea soup and sweet buns with whipped cream and jam inside of them.
And now we're back in Jyväskylä.
