Online Education....anyone?

Has anyone ever got their education from an online unviersity? I'm kind of throwing around the idea of getting my Master's degree, but doing it online. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

I think it probably depends on what you're planning to get a masters in. EJ has been looking into online courses to get a masters in architectural history, but hasn't had much luck so far--one of the universities that offers the degree told her to plan on spending at least one year on campus.

IT depends on what you are studying and if the online program is accredited.
I have taken online courses for continuing education towards my certfications which is a bit different but these came from accredited universities and were "taught" in a manner in which there was participation....scheduled lecture, work, etc.

Kimmi, tomorrow if my brain starts working again I will get back to you. My son is doing it now and a niece finished hers a couple years back. Very different experiences according to who you use, but I am not in shape to give you the correct info just now.
