Everyone loves a good fortune. These are two of my most recent fortune cookie fortunes. Avert misunderstandings by calm, poise, and balance. A handful of patience is worth a bushel of brains. Please add your fortunes. with warm regards, Tony

Every fortune, when read aloud, must be preceded by "When in bed..."

I've had a fortune cookie only once. It said: "Smile and the world smiles with you". Best wishes, Sanna

I once got a fortune cookie with no fortune in it. Seemed an ominous portent to me, but nothing's happened yet. I can't remember what show it was, long ago--maybe Rod Serling's "Night Gallery"--where a guy gets a fortune cookie that said, "You're Dead." So the guy looks up, and he is.... Hey, my sense of humor's a little left-handed sometimes. Best, George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)
