Not for me. I know this is trivial, but I would really appreciate it if you could keep my Linda in your thoughts on Monday next.
She is going to have an endoscopy to find the source of a "feeling that something is stuck" in her throat that she has had since Thanksgiving.
She is totally phobic when it comes to any Doctors and especially procedures of any kind. We lost her/our best friend 10 years ago to lymphoma and the throat thing was Kim's first symptom so I know that even though she won't verbalize it that she is thinking it and she will be scared.
I think that Pappy may be the only one of you that has actually spoken to her, but I guarantee that when you meet her in Richmond you will love her as I do. She already knows as much about you all as I and is a very staunch supporter.
She has put up with my sorry arse for 36 yrs. 21 with CH, so if you find the time and don't mind just wish her the best and I will print the thread on Mon. morning after deleting my request. (I don't want her to know that she is my whole life) lol.
Thank you all in advance. I hope that you all know that even though I sometimes appear to be at odds with some here I respect and admire (if not love) each and every one of you.

Tim having had two endoscopies in the last week I can sympathise. I too had that stuck feeling and it turns out I have a hiatus hernia so hopefully it will be something as easily sorted for her. I had both my endoscopies without sedation and they weren't as bad as I had expected.. I wouldn't choose to have one but I chose no sedation as it always makes me get hit hard afterwards.
Linda will be fine but I'll be especially thinking of her and sending all my love to get you both through it.

Try not to let your imagination run wild - I know, easier said than done. You will be in all our thoughts and prayers. My strongest for you at this point will be that you can find the strength to stay as calm as you can between now and then. That Timmy of yours will help. He's one of the good guys.

As Helen said, the most common cause for feeling lumpy in the throat is hiatus hernia or acid reflux.

Kidding, he's a fantastic guy who has said so many wonderful things about you. Since you have helped this man with his pain for so long I'm more than sure that there are higher powers that are looking over you and Tim. My prayers and best wishes for you both. It will be o.k.!

The unknown can have far worse consequences than that which is known and treatable! I know, I know, it is easy for us to sit back and tell you not to worry-we're not living this right now! But....it is true.........
Now, please keep your self occupied this weekend! Spend time with friends, go see a movie, read a good book......most of all, don't let your mind get away from you! LOL>.if push comes to shove, drop in here and jump in on some kinda thread that has your interest..we can get pretty silly, y'know!

My Bill had the same problem and it turned out to be a hiatus hernia for which he now take meds and he's doing fine. He coupled the hernia with an ulcer but thankfully the meds have cleared the ulcer part up.
We'll be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way.

Tim - nothing is trivial if it causes us to worry about those we love. AND - for a price, we won't tell Linda all those nice things you said!

Linda.......Prayers being said for you for both body and mind. I had that "something stuck" feeling and it turned out to be a bad case of nerves after going through a trying time. So, there really are so many things that it could be.....but we always tend to think of the worst.
