I'm nearsighted, much more on the right side, which is my hit side. However, my prescription is very similar to my Dad's, and he doesn't have ch. His mother, my grandmother, was someone my husband Joe thinks had ch because some of her behavior was just like "dancing with the beast", and she did not need glasses at all. Charlotte

I am far sighted in one eye and near sighted in the other eye. I have two different types of stigmatisms also. That was last year and this year I can feal that my perscription has changed for the worse again. The eye dr has observed that when I am getting hit my vision in the effected side(right for me) gets real bad and my vision is uncorrectable no matter what he does in that eye. This has been documented several times by different eye drs.

Hmmmm..near-sighted almost legally blind without glasses-now need (curse you old age!) bi-folcals. Have been wearing glasses since the third grade. Long long before CH onset. Have had eyes checked while in cycle and after cycle to see if things got worse. Didn't get any worse than normal. But an interesting survey-pressure on optic nerve maybe... Keep asking questions PFDAN y'all kathy

I wear glasses, I have very bad eyes. Nearsighted in both eyes. Need prisms to correct the angle of my eyes. Astygmatism in both. Lack of pigmentation in both eyes, causing major glare. My vision used to be 20/600. Now its only 20/400.

I wear glasses and because of the entire facial sensitivity thing I have always cursed the whole glasses thing along with CH. Had CH before glasses though. When I've gone in for eye tests and they do some of those "pressure tests" and so on I always ask the optomama-person if they can tell any difference in the look of my eyeballs between my CH eye and the other, and they never can. scott

Yes, I wear bifocals. vision is slightly worse on the left (HA) side, but I don't know if there is a connection. Didn't need glasses until after the beast found me , but family history would lead me to believe that I would have regardless. The worse the HA the worse my vision gets on the affected side but I would attribute this to inflammation around the optic nerve. Like Scott I always ask during exams if the Op person can see anything different inside and they have always said no. Interesting ?.....Tim

I was 23 when first hit and 41 when I had my last real hit. Eyesight had little to do with mine evidently. I was just far sighted since about 40 or so and wore glasses for reading only. I haven't worn glasses regularly until last year. Now my eyes are different and very happy to have the help. Charlie

I'm supposed to, but hardly ever do. I can see well enough with my good eye and recognized the fact that, when I do wear my glasses, the script on the left eye is off. Left eye is GOOD. Right eye, always been bad. CH - primary Righty. Right handed Sleep on right side of bed But One Eyed Willie hangs to the left. Hmm.

When mine started vision was perfect. Now I'm old, blind and decrepit, wear progressive bi-focals with both eyes being bad! But One Eyed Willie hangs to the left. Interesting point by B14CK but he neglected to mention which side CH is on. I hang right, HA side is right.....hmmm...... gUISEPPI
