LOL Jonny ! The message above is just a part of the entire error message. (It's long) But.. I think I may know what caused the error now. Could it have been that I used the drop down address box in IE7 to run an .html file from my hard drive that included java .class files ? After doing so, it put a .log file on my desktop. sound right ? Anyone ?? UNsolved ??

i had simmilar errors before and it was java and virtual machine accessing same memmory slot at the same time the update did help mine havent had one since i think when i researched it it had something to do with 16 bit color good luck

mike is right, it sounds like a memory access problem. At least it was smart enough to detect it before it stomped on some other program. That JRE 5.0 release 10 does make life a bit better
