Bad week for the 'funk

Very sorry I haven't been around much these last few days. This has been a very hard week for me. First, classes started back Monday. To get me started, my oldest dog of 13 years took sick and I had to put hr to sleep Mon. It was like losing a child as she has been the only constant in my life for those 13. Then today I was in an extreme car accident today and totalled my Explorer. I am a little banged up; more shaken up than anytihng. Plus the fact that now I have no way of getting from A to B until the Ins compnies finish their work To top it all of, the HAs are getting worse(now getting hit 2-3 times a day again). A a matter of fact I got hit right in the middlre of all tje confusion today. Pfunk I apollogize for any typos inthis as I am higly medicated with painkillers and muscle relaxers

I think it's time to declare today (Thursday) a Friday, and call it a week. Sheesh. Hope things improve soon. Keep fighting the good fight. Best wishes, George

Whoa...that's one helluva week. Sorry about your dog, sweetie. They are like our children. Wont the ins company rent you a car in the meantime? Sometimes, pain pills will trigger clusters. Be careful with those, OK? I'm sending prayers and vibes that next week is much, much better. hugs and pf wishes, nani

Pfunk - Take solace in knowing that your bestest buddy counted on you to make the decision for her. You ended her suffering, and she will be eternally grateful to you for that. She'll be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge when it's your turn. You will be reunited and you'll cross together. Hope the ramifications of the car accident don't pour salt in your other wounds. Hang in there - we're pullin' for you.

Thank You to all for your well wishes and the like. Sorry I have not been back on in a while with trying to get things back in order and find another car and all that good stuff. Turns out the bastard wasn't even insured so our uninsured motorist coverage had to take care of it. Since the accident the beast has come to visit more times than normal for me and not at his regular times either. No warning signs or anything; I just end up going from fine to"hit the wall" in a matter of seconds. However, I am having some comic relief from my other dog who has gone from "Yard dog" to "Big Dog of the House" in the last week. He's been good through all this though he mopes sometimes when he stops and realizes she's not here. He totally freaks when I get a HA because he thinks that someone is trying to hurt me and can't figure out who or where it is. I think if I could figure out who or where it was coming from, I would let the dog loose. Anyway, things seem to be looking up a little as I should have a new truck by Wed or Thurs. Just need to fight off the beast as hard as I can b/c I cannot afford to miss any more school. Love you all! Pfunk
