43 to 42 on the two point conversion in overtime. What a game! Woohoo! Lots of noise in town tonight....fireworks going off all over. Boise State rules! Best, George

| Actually, I didn't watch it at home. Went to the local watering hole down the street to see the game and eat some free nachos. I'm not much of a drinker, but sometimes it's fun to see a much-anticipated game in a charged atmosphere. I had about a beer and a half. As you can imagine, it was fairly nuts in there after the game--I even got hugged a couple of times. (Usually people think twice about it--guess I still put out "touch me not" vibes.) Great game. Happy new year to you as well, Jean. Best, George

Simply put, I doubt 2007 will have a better game than that on so many levels. I was rooting for Boise because I think they need a playoff system in NCAA and they didn't disappoint. Honestly, OU was lucky to even be in that position and Boise was creative and executed to perfection after the INT. I would expect ESPN Classic to deem this one an Instant Classic and show it every day for a month..... if you like football, look for it and record it!

100% agreed. Quite possibly one of the best games ever played and BSU stated their case well. Also agreed that if this does not present support for a playoff system to be implemented, nothing ever will. Playoffs work for evry other division from I-AA to NAIA and all the other sports, major or not. Why would it or should it not work for this? Pfunk
