I have a photograph in my computer room of Gerald and Betty Ford and his dog standing in front of a Lear jet that my son was flying him to and from various places in So. Calif. It was taken many years after he left the White House. One thing I remember my son saying about that experience is that him and his wife were so very kind. Asked him about his career, his personal goals that sort of thing. Was totally polite and thanked him over and over again and seemed concerned if he had eaten lunch before they took off. lol The world really has lost a truly decent man, the likes of which will be hard to find in politics again.

Never elected president by the people - most likely the last administration to offer bi-partisan leadership to the nation. He wasn't perfect but may be the last president to lead in the best interest of the entire nation. From Carter on the focus of national leadership has increasingly shifted to partisan politics. Government growth, spending, control and taxpayer debt skyrocked after Ford's administration. Tom

Would the owner of the propane torch, egg beater, pipe expander and vise grips please claim these items. They're lodged in my head and I need the space.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

He was part of the Republican Party that I voted for. I miss it. Gerry was too good for the office....what a shame. Charlie
