Christmas Eve

I love this time of year. It always represents new "Hope." This past year was a rough one for my business which I disolved on December 1. I took on more debt then I should have, but I always worked hard so I thought things would even out. I'm proud that I never felt sorry for myself, because of this very day. I am blessed and I thank God each and every day. I had alot of friends that turned their backs on me, but that's ok, and I forgive them. I'm better off alone at times because I know the Lord is always with me. He's taught me alot this year, and I'm a better person for it. I am fully aware that there will be good days and bad days--but I'll get through them one day at a time--and I'll learn something new. From March to May we worried about my wife's medical condition--but it turned out fine. We really are blessed !!! With alot on my mind I attended a funeral for a friend who died of cancer. She was a kind and gentle person who suffered for five years. At the service they mentioned that she accepted her fate and would only say " Jesus, I trust in You." That has always been my favorite saying, and for some mysterious reason from the time I left the service --I knew things would change for me. They did. I got a job offer for a very good position which is difficult, but which job isn't? A debt counselor is meeting with me on January 5th---and she told me --not to worry. And the biggest blessing of all was meeting you guys and gals online here. Whether we argued, or shared a laugh together---whether Jew,Christian, Buddist, Muslim---or whatever , you are my brother or sister. Believe in the hope....It's real----and you're never alone !

Because of what you said, Zwibby, 2007 is going to be a good year for all of us......because we have "new hope", and because we have each other. Have a Merry Christmas, Mr. Zwibbs / Scott, and may God bless you and your family at this most wonderful time of year. Sandy

I love ya too Swibby. I even forgive you for all the derogatory Sacramento pics you posted at our expense. After all it's Christmas and I need to forgive somebody this time of year. Linda

A Christmas story too Zwibbs. One better than anything from Peter Billingsley. Good luck and keep up the hoping. Charlie
