Through the mist~pictures

Foggy as hell one day last week. In some spots, couldn't see much past the front end of my car. I did ask Santa for a new camera, but he said that I'd been too naughty all year.

Gorgeous pics!! I really love the effects of the fog. I think my favorite is #5, but I also like the view of the road just melting away. Hope Santa brings you that camera.

I love the way mist and fog obscure the normal and bring the paranormal to the front of your mind. My imagination runs away with me - sometimes good and sometimes BAD!
These made me think of Arthur an Guinevere and the Lady of the Lake, I really expected to see Excalibur rising from the depths. I love Arthurian legends, I love the primeval feeling with these pics and the timelessness they make me feel. If ever time travel is possible I'll bet its through mist.
Thanks Carolyn, these are absolutely stunning, not just for the pictures but for the dreams they inspire
