What ARE you looking forward to...

During the holidays? I'm looking forward to showing off my engagement ring to my parents and family. I'm also looking forward to playing card games, etc. with my family on Christmas day after we eat lunch. I'm also looking forward to Christmas Eve at my future in-law's house. We will be exchanging presents and watching a Christmas Story, listening to Christmas songs, etc. I can't wait!! Just wanted to start a thread that was stuff you're looking forward to, instead of dreading.

Taking the week of Christmas --- New Years as vacation days. Not having to deal with business, customer and staff issues. If it would snow that would be simply fantastic. This Minnesota boy loves a white Christmas.

Umm, Zwibby.......KImmie meant about CHRISTMAS! Get with the program, wouldja??? I'm finally learning to savor the holidays with my whole family. Several false alarms have caused me to realize our numbers have dwindled and continue to do so. I'm also looking forward to bending tradition this year. We adults in the family have decided we truly need nothing this year, and we are not going to exchange gifts. We will get together, enjoy each other immensely, enjoy my grandson opening HIS presents, but, on Christmas Eve, we are headed out to the Oregon Food Bank with a check. Plenty of people need FOOD far more than we need gifts. I'm looking forward to GOOD Christmas music....not that reindeer song...........and, since I haven't even begun yet, I'm looking forward to getting my Christmas cards out......... ummmm...so I think I gotta go now!!!!!!!! The main thing I'm looking forward to is calling jonny at 2:45am on Christmas day because I'm all alone in the living room. I bet it will be a great conversation.

I'm looking forward to introducing my amazing best supporter to my aunt, two cousins and their boyfriends. It will be so wonderful to spend this CHristmas together! I'm also looking forward to the relaxed mood at mum's house on CHristmas Eve, when everyone's eating great food, talking, relaxing... it's great. And I hope that there will be at least some snow at least on CHristmas Eve! May your Holidays be PF! Sanna

I am looking forward to: 1) going home to TEXAS 2) having Christmas with My Mom, Dad, Brother and Nephews. I have never spent Christmas with my Nephews and it has been 22 years since I have had Christmas with my mom, dad and brother all together at once. 3) Introducing my brother to my husband for the first time. A) watching my husband pretend that my baby brother is not working on his very last nerve 4) Seeing a school friend whom I have not seen in 15 years, who just found me. 5) Spending some quality time with my husbands mother.

I will be headed to Arizona to spend Christmas with my parents for the first time in 10 years instead of my in laws. I can't wait! After we get back, my 3 year old has a surgical consult to get his tonsils and adenoids out for obstructive sleep apnea. We just got the results of his sleep study back this week. Bridget

Looking forward to... ...Not working from the 19th through the 25th. ...My boy coming home from Chicago for a few days!! (Even if it doesn't end up being a serious thing at all, I'm still looking forward to seeing him, spending time with him, and giving him a big hug!) ...Christmas cookies! ...Christmas Eve Mass ...Driving around and looking at the Christmas lights and luminaries ...Spending time with my brother, parents, and grandparents ...Just that cozy, peaceful, wonderful, happy feeling that we share at Christmas! ...My dad reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas" as he does every year! That kind of stuff...

| Got ya beat Woobs.........I LIVE with my Inlaws!!! lol Actually love em all and get along with them much better than most daughters in laws do with the MIL... I just posted on the the other thread what I look forward to the most. Watching my kids eyes light up when they see that santa actually FINALLY brought them everything they asked for (this is the first year ever sam and I have been able to really get the kids anything on their wish list....) It was the best feeling in the world shopping this year, we had a blast......... Watching their joy on Xmas morning will make so many things seem so trivial...seeing that wonderful joy on a childs face......completely priceless. My kids have alway sbeen happy with the few toys and things they have recieved on xmas no matter how much or how little they have gotten in the past they are still happy but this year....oh this year will be incredible!

Eggnog and Bond Ost, (Swede cheese with caraway seeds) watching my five year old niece and playing with my 46 year-old cousin's train set that rivals anything Cornelius Vanderbilt ever made. I like Christmas day too. We had so much fun and nothing bad anywhere in the world was allowed. Dad wouldn't put up with. Charlie
