This holiday season?
For me (I know I'm gonna get crap for this) it's that damn christmas story movie with the blonde kid who wants a bb gun.
Oh yeah, fruitcake. That stuff should be outlawed!

When I had a family, we would watch that (Christmas Story) non-stop from Thanksgiving unitl Christmas. Love it!
Not looking forward to being alone again.

My sister decided to go back to Illinois today, and left a note saying thanks for letting her stay for a while, but she's not good at goodbye's thats why she didn't tell me before she left.
So since the kids are here Xmas Eve, I too do not look forward to spending the next day alone. I'll be alone for Yule celebration too.
Oh well...I'll get over it, I always do.

I was in Vegas last year at Xmass time. Apparantlly the veganites only know 3 XMass carols cause they play the same three over and over and over.
I'm on a plane Saturday. I doubt any of them have studied the Berl Ives songbook for this year either.

Brace yourself. TBN....one of the regular Turner networks is running it non stop on the 24th I think.
I like it once and I don't have to pay much attention while it's running by now.
There are only four of us locally and we have a little girl to buy for now so I tend to like everything. I will be happy to see 2006 all done with though.

Yup spend an arm and a leg on toys.......then have to go back out for $30+ on damn batteries

It will be our 1st Christmas without any of the kids or grandkids.
Just my lovely bride and I will be hanging out at the house. Few drinks, big fire in the fire place, throw out a blanket and let her have her way with me.
It will be weird without any of the kids. I know our Marine Recruit will be on our mind wondering how the Corp celebrates Christmas. If it is still like when I was in it's not much, keep them busy to keep their minds off home.
