Topamax has slayed my appetite down to nothing and even I am hungry. You should have brought a covered dish to chat last night.

What’s for dinner? Heck, I don’t know. It’s only 4:39. I haven’t even decided what restaurant we’re going to yet.

Linda, yum yum yum. I'm sorry you can't eat, Helen. Joe is cooking. He likes to bake things in the oven bags. Today, it's london broil, and chopped onions, potatoes, and green peppers. c

Thai steak curry. Mmmmn. Fry one large onion, add garlic, galangal, coconut milk, and chopped pistachios. Simmer 15 minutes. Add steak (leftovers from yesterdays grill), chopped zuchinini and okra, tomato juice, cumin, fish sauce and other secret spices. Serve over a bed of rice-stick noodles.

Home-made beef stew with potatoes, carrots, green beans, and turnips. Lotsa garlic, and sautee'd onions in it. Toss a few peppercorns in it, and two whole cloves. Shiitake mushrooms, also. Bay leaf, a good scoop of chopped fresh thyme, a couple dashes of tabasco sauce, thickened with flour and milk, brought back to a simmer, and finished up with a couple pats of butter, melted. And crusty wheat bread. Best, George

My bride slow-roasted a rump roast in onions, soy, onion soup mix, some other stuff, then sliced it thin and put it on a nice, crusty french roll. Covered with swiss cheese and the slow-cooked onions, broiled and served with au jus for the best French Dip beef sandwiches I've ever had. Served with a deli seafood salad. Yum.

Because I had a yummy cheeseburger for lunch, I had very simple dinner: home made carrot soup and two slices of ry bread with little butter and cucumber slices. Sanna
