I think I'm in love with my neurologist

Okay, that's a bit exaggerated. We did just meet today. I told him I was diagnosed by my general md. and just started on Topamax and Verap 2 weeks ago. The first question out of his mouth "Have you tried O2 yet? It works miracles for a lot of people with clusters... I've been recommending it for the last 20 years..." So far so good. He was very thorough. Spent about 1 1/2 hours with me. I have been having expressive aphasia from the topamax, and it came out during the neuro exam, when he was asking me to name various objects. I couldn't think of the word 'lapel'. It came to me about 15 minutes later and I started shouting out "Lapel!Lapel!Lapel!" He said I am a very complicated case as I apparently have Tourette's syndrome as well as CH. He has a reputation as being quite an a$$, but we got along famously. Maybe because I can be quite an a$$ as well. I left his office in very good spirits, with confidence in his treatment plan and knowledge. I took three hits today, but I'm still marking it up as a good day in my book.

If you find a good one KEEP him! I've had mine for 10 years now and think he's a godsend. I refer anyone with CH to him. Most docs have HEARD of O2 by now -- we've been yelling for years and the journals are full of it. I guess some of 'em just can't read or don't care. Glad you found a neuro you like and will do something for you. Hugs BD

chewy you're confusing love and sexual attraction. Besides, he's outside my network. On the other hand....maybe he'd waive the copay

Go for the O2... There's more than a good chance it will work for you as an effective abortive... If you try it and don't get relief let us know

You love lots of things if you live around them. But there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, not any before nor after, that’s as lovely as a great airplane. Man has one virginity to lose in fighters, and if it is a lovely airplane he loses it to, there is where his heart will forever be.

Diamond rings, and all those things, they never sparkled like your smile. Awesome! Nothing like connecting with a good Neuro.
