I thought I would do more than what she asked. I thought I would enlist my friends here help. My friends son died a few years back. She and I have been friends for many years, our kids grew up together. Her son had AIDS. He was sick for about two years and every time I would talk to her she would tell me of him being in and out of the hospital. One day I figured it out. I asked her if he had AIDS. She said yes. I prayed for him with her. He lost his battle. I went to the hospital to see her and him. He was on life support and in a coma. None of her friends would visit her there because they were afaid they would get it. To be honest I was afarid at the time. I watched as the nurses came in all in gloves and mask on. My friend Connie washed his face and put cream on his lips. I toched his hand and rubed his forhead. I wasn't afraid any longer, the man needed to feel our touch without rubber gloves on. Today in his honer his Mother asked if I would go to this site and light a candle, $1 for every candle that is lite goes to a national AIDS Fund. Just click on the link in memory of a man name Tommy for me ! Thanks https://www.lighttounite.org//

Of course, Elaine. My cousin Mike died of AIDS nearly ten years ago--a Vietnam vet, and a very fine man. We miss him. Best wishes, George
