Opening Night

"Snapshots and Portraits" tonight-Redding, CA. 7pm.
I have a small, but very funny, part. Bag lady who gets to take down this big guy (alot of physical comedy-only one or two lines).
Drama is not necessarily a bad thing. For instance, the traditional wish for an actress about to go on stage is "Break A Leg".  Many of my dear friends may wish to say that to me....go for it.

Tim sure, yeah, your tickets are at the window, yea yea that's the ticket....
They serve coffee-and really good snackrels. Its at a church after all....
Can't afford to break a finger-I got nabbed to do make-up as our make-up person (who knows what the heck she's doing) has the flu. So we may all look-well-odd. 
Tia, theater never leaves your psyche. (Do you do make-up? I'll send ya a plane ticket-can you be here by-say 5pm?)
Cathi-I know its figurative. Mikey (the sweet male-child) got really upset with his dad last night when he said that to me. "Dad! We don't want Mom to break her LEG! How will she be able to drive us places?" Such compassion. I explained that it is traditional to say this. He has told me gleefully three times today already to break a leg. 
Nani, when I told Steve, my husband, that I was a thespian, he almost started crying.

Actially yes, I did. That and Costuming for the most part if there was not a musical to be in cause that was my first love. But I think my hubby would freak if I told him I was flying out of town for a show.
