I've been listening to the 70's on VH1 and having the time of my life here! The first ever record I bought has just come on, I bought it on a 45 (yes I'm THAT old! ) Mine was YMCA by Village People, what was yours?!

I remember my first cassette tapes, they were gifts. Disco Dynamos and Kenny Rogers. I have repressed the memory of who bought them for me. However, I did enjoy them.

Add to post above: Even though I didn't buy them, I used to play the beejeezuz out of two 8-tracks my folks had: The Lettermen (don't know the name of the album), and Soundtrack for Victory at Sea.

Full Tilt? It was one of those K-tel records...can't find it listed but I have it packed away somewhere. Thanks for making me feel old, Helen! DD
