I've been listening to the 70's on VH1 and having the time of my life here!

The first ever record I bought has just come on, I bought it on a 45 (yes I'm THAT old!  Tongue )

Mine was YMCA by Village People, what was yours?!

I remember my first cassette tapes, they were gifts.

Disco Dynamos and Kenny Rogers.

I have repressed the memory of who bought them for me.  However, I did enjoy them.

Add to post above:

Even though I didn't buy them, I used to play the beejeezuz out of two 8-tracks my folks had:

The Lettermen (don't know the name of the album), and

Soundtrack for Victory at Sea.

I bought my first two 45's at the same time with my babysitting money LOL  Grin

Heart Of Glass by Blondie 1979
Jack and Diane by John Cougar 1979

My first album was a compilation of different songs...someone may remember it... Full Tilt?  It was one of those K-tel records...can't find it listed but I have it packed away somewhere.

Thanks for making me feel old, Helen!   laugh
