Kerry said this, which in my opinion is a slam against any military service personnel serving our country in a war zone right now. He is basically saying, all of them were too dumb in school, so they deserve being where they are.

We were switching cars today and I picked up Jon in the truck , he had served two tours in Iraq and is in the reserves now. I asked him if he had heard Kerr's comments. He said no, but Kerry stood behind the veterans. At that exact moment the radio played his comments. You should have seen his face. For those of you that don't support the war, thats fine, but you should have seen Jons face. Kerry should be ashamed.

Funny how the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (http://iava.org/) rated the Senators, depending on whether they supported things like pay-raises for the troops, and it came out like this:
From the IAVA website: "To calculate the Ratings, IAVA reviewed all legislation voted on in the Congress since September 11, 2001. For each piece of legislation that affected troops, veterans or military families, IAVA took a position either in support of, or in opposition to its passage. The letter grades were derived, using the scales below, from the percentage of times that each legislator's vote matched the official IAVA stance.
A total of 169 House votes and 155 Senate votes were used to determine the ratings. You can view all of this legislation, either in a complete list or grouped by session, by clicking here.
IAVA is a non-partisan, non-profit organization. These ratings were determined using a simple and transparent mathematical formula."
