Dear Spudnik,

Please don't take the joking seriously.  It is not amimed at you.  The sarcasm is aimed at the idiot you have for a pharmacist who is passing out bad medical advice without a license.  We hear so many of these bits of "advice" and panaceas that we tend to get a little sarcastic in return.

I recognize you are looking for any way to help your husband, and coming here with the question was the right thing for you to do.  I am thriled with you that your husband was PF for two days, but I assure you the dognut and milk had nothing to do with it.  If it did I would move to a Krispy Kreme franchise even if the diabetes killed me.  At least I would die with this  Grin on my face.

The pharmacist where I work told me his brother sufferers from CH and he takes a glass of milk in the morn with a little sweet (doughnut, small cake, etc. . .)  He said it helps him.

just wanted to check up on this. I tried it out this morning and it made a hell of a mess, how is it to be taken, is an an oral treatment? its not to be injected or taken as a suppository is it???

I can see where it might work.

Place the donut on a hard surface. Smash your head into the donut while pouring hot milk onto your crotch.

Might be a bit of a distraction from the head ache pain.

Don't be silly.  The milk is to be injected with your trex injection system and the donut a suppossitory will kill most HAs within 3 hours.

Seriously though, higher blood sugar never seems to help my headaches in fact some sweets (chocolate for sure) are a trigger for me.

Maybe your pharm thinks he knows better and was diagnosing your husband with hypoglycemia?

Either way, look around for more tried and true tips and suggestions.  This one seems rather insane to me.  How would a morning donut be a preventative that lasts all day?  Also, have you taken the quiz on the left to make sure it is clusters and not another type??

Just trying to be helpful.

I really want to know little more about the headaches.

Never had any luck with such a concoction. My breakfasts consist of a raisin bagel and coffee so thick I have to eat it with a fork. Don't know if it worked. Didn't hurt.
