Hello Everyone!! 
I just wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart to everyone that sent DJ cards, warm wishes, thoughts and smiles on his birthday yesterday.
His day was filled with surprises. First off, his mother drove up from Ft. Worth to surprise him at dinner. Then I picked Conner up from school (usually his dad's day). As DJ was driving home from work I requested a song for him on the radio...Alan Jackson's "Livin on Love", for his birthday. He walked into an immaculately clean home with roses waiting on the counter.
Then as we walked through the door of the restaurant he saw his mom...it was great. To top the whole dinner off, some crazy lady from Canada  (thank you again)  took care of our dinner for us.
All in all, it was a great day, and I really don't know how I got away with it all without him knowing!
You all are wonderful, and we are truely blessed to have you in our lives.

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

I had intended on driving up to Wichita for the party today. It's not like it's that far, but with me being sick I can't make it. Don't want to pass this crap on and make anyone else suffer any more than they already are.
So, I'll toast the birthday boy with a shot of NyQuil and say,
"Happy Birthday, DJ!!!"
Steph, give him a big hug for me.
