...with me last night.
Phillip & PawPaw
Sahara feeding Phillip
Sahara is the perfect big sister. She loves helping with the baby. The old green eyed monster never showed himself once as I was holding Phillip. Phillip is a happy baby. Only cries when hungry or needs changing. He has a cute little smile.
Mom enjoyed the break. She said she slept for 9 straight hours last night.
We loved every minute of it. It was neat having a baby in the house again.

Good to see you enjoying time with your grandson, enjoy him while he's small, in no time you'll be pitching ball with him, or watching play in some game or other. I am going weekends watching my grandson playing soccer in a junior league, only seems 5 minutes ago he was Phillips size. Hope the beast stays away enjoy youself Cheers Roy

He certainly doesn't look like the same little boy that we all thought was in some trouble at his birth. He's doing amazingly well from all appearances.

Isnt it wonderful to hold a newborn baby in your arms? Sort of make you go warm and jelly all over ...
Reminds me of the first delivery I did as an Intern. I was gobsmacked and stood there holding the newborn in my arms and just stared at him in total amazement ... The supervising obstetrician had to nudge me and whisper " Give the baby to the mother, he is not yours "

As beautiful as little Hannah is and as much as I would love to see and hold her...
sssshhhhhh! Don't talk like that. Jane still has those maternal yearnings at times. She might take you up on it. LOL The beauty of being a grandparent is that you can enjoy them and spoil them and send them home.
Actually, Zack (my youngest son) will be performing in 2 concerts with his high school orchestra and wind ensemble at Carnegie Hall in March or April next year, so maybe I'll get the chance to visit after all.
