I don't know if it's that it hits harder or if it's just unexpected. It's kind of like thinking someone is going to punch you in your right arm so you tense it up and get ready for the hit and then someone punches you left arm instead. You may not get hit any harder, but it seems to hurt more because you weren't ready for it. Maybe?

It ended fortunately...as they always do. But in the throes of it, sometimes it seems like it's never gonna go away...no matter how many times I tell myself that it will! Knock on wood, today haven't had any visits yet.....
I always call my left side the headache "virgin" territory. I like how Gator put it. I dunno that the hits are any stronger, but my right side has pain all the time. When there's one that hits the left, it's like my whole brain goes, "There isn't supposed to be pain there!!" and it always seems worse to me. Plus, for some reason those are the ones that my abortives don't stop so easily.
Ah well - today's another day.

Sorry you're going through the 'ping pong' as well. I thought I was gonna lose my mind Thursday. Got hit 10 times in a 24 hours period; 5 of the hits were at work.
I won;t even discuss this past weekend. Today was a good day.
